L&T informed in the exchange filing that the company has bagged multiple new orders in the last three days. The company’s construction, power and buildings & factories business has bagged orders worth more than Rs 5000 crore.  The first order is for the company’s construction business for the prestigious Dahisar Bhayander Bridge project in Mumbai. The order is for the construction of a 4.5 km bridge connecting Dahisar and Bhayander in Mumbai. The order is worth more than Rs 2,500 crore. The second order is for the company’s Power Business for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order from West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited to set up wet Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) systems for its Thermal Power Plant at Sagardighi in the state of West Bengal. The order ranges between Rs 1,000 – 2,500 crores. The third order is for the company’s buildings & factories business to construct a residential township in Bengaluru involving the construction of 3,627 apartments spread across 19 Towers having the configuration of 3 Basements + Ground + 23 to 41 Floors, 88 Villas along with clubhouses, swimming pools and other amenity structures. The order ranges between Rs 2,500 – 5,000 crores. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is a major technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services conglomerate, with global operations. The company has an order book of Rs 4.12 trillion.
